Any Game Cookbook -- Recipes for Spiritual Gaming is now in print. Thanks to several excellent groups of guinea pigs -- er, willing volunteers -- the cookbook has been tested and retested -- and now is in print.

The book is now in the hands of the printer. We shall soon have many copies to distribute. Yay! Writing the book was easy, getting it through the proofing process was challenging. The proofreaders were fine. Problem was everytime I went back into the text to fix a typo I would end up adding a new recipe or extending one that was already there. This meant more proofreading and more entering corrections and more adding of new material -- and so the cycle went.

Well, the vicious circle has quieted and we have a final manuscript in the hands of the printers.

Spiritual gaming groups have been forming around the country. (see Spiritual Gaming Groups Starting for more news on this.) Actually if you include the groups in Spain, Italy, and Brazil, then one could say groups are forming around the world. It is very gratifying to see that the text translate well into other cultures. In fact, the contents have been getting rave reviews. However, as predicted many months ago when starting this project, we did have a few folks that were a little perplexed by the lack of theory (or preaching as I think of it).

This book was designed with one, and only one goal, in mind -- give people the tools necessary so that they can have their own spiritual gaming experience and find out for themselves what it's all about.

To this end, I have kept discussion of what to expect, or what might happen to a bare minimum. Instead there is recipe after recipe which anyone can use to cook up their own spiritual gaming adventure.
